Guide to Services

Initial Contact

Providing your estimate

You and Patrick will meet for approximately 20-30 minutes. During this initial meeting we review your cleaning needs room by room as well as PSG's policies, payment options, schedules, and any questions you may have.

 

Developing your home plan

Patrick develops and emails a home/office cleaning plan detailing agreed upon services. You will notice two service agreements at the end of the home plan. If acceptable, sign and date both the customer's and PSG's copy. We will arrange a mutually beneficial time to review the plan, discuss future scheduling, and ensure all of your questions are answered.

 

PSG Cleaning Services Inc.

  • provides you with a set time for the home cleaning with a one-hour variance to allow for traffic and road conditions. PLEASE NOTE: While we do our best to maintain a routine schedule, from time to time circumstances may warrant deviations from agreed upon days/times of service.

  • completes all services described in the home plan, and leaves a receipt on the dining room table or other designated area after each service.

  • makes suggestions with regard to cleaning products and procedures to ensure prompt and thorough cleaning of the dwelling.

  • disposes of cleaning agents in a utility or other sink as designated by the customer.
 

PSG Cleaning Services will not:

  • provide service during the summer months to homes without adequate air conditioning.

  • provide service during winter months to homes without adequate heating.

  • provide services to households during any time the house is occupied by unsupervised children or teenagers.

  • operate your motor vehicle.

  • throw circuit breakers or replace fuses.

  • allow service representatives such as water meter readers, UPS drivers, and so forth to enter your home.

  • access your phone or answering machine.

  • exchange keys with anyone other than the customer.

  • sell or share e-mail addresses, names, telephone/fax numbers with any person or company.

 
 

Hours of Operation

PSG Cleaning Services, Inc. generally provides service between 7:00AM and 6:00PM.

 

 

Inclement Weather

  • PSG will notify you within 6 hours of a scheduled visit if conditions are such that we are unable to reach your residence or business.

  • Limited or delayed service may occur in extreme thunderstorms, in dangerously cold or hot conditions, and in any city- or state-declared weather emergency.

  • All visits during a period of inclement weather will be on an hourly advisory status depending on driving conditions.
 

Cancellations

Please call PSG (and wait for a confirmation) for all cancellations. We appreciate at least 48 hours' notice; however, we understand that emergencies occur, and will meet unforeseen events with flexibility. Excessive cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are subject to cessation of services.

 

Safety

PSG asks you to inform trustworthy neighbors, neighborhood watch organizations, relatives, and so forth that a cleaning service will be on your property. Doing so can save the police department, neighbors, and the house cleaner from an embarrassing situation.

Please notify PSG Cleaning Services in advance of any person or people who may be in your home during the time of the housecleaning service. This includes family members, service contractors, repair personnel, and so forth. PSG reserves the right to reschedule visits that coincide with a visit by another contractor or houseguest.

 

Billing and Payments

Payment is expected at the completion of each service. A designated area for payment and receipt will be discussed after both parties sign the service agreement.

  • You may leave a check or cash at your residence on the day of the service. Please make all checks payable to PSG Cleaning Services, Inc.
  • You may also pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card. We accept credit card payments through PayPal.com. Please ask for information on how to set up a free account with PayPal, which is secure and encrypted. Please note: Effective January 16, 2006 a 2.9% fee plus 30 cents will be assessed to any per cleaning fee for all customers utilizing PayPal's services. This fee may be increased in the future by PayPal.
  • Occasionally we barter for services. If you have a professional service that you think may be of use to us, please feel free to ask!
  • Payments received beyond the due date listed on your billing statement are subject to late fees of $1.00 per day (weekends and holidays included) until the account is brought up to date.
 

Referrals

PSG Cleaning Services offers a 25% discount for any referral that leads to the signing of a weekly or bi-weekly service agreement. Please note: the discount does not apply to referrals that lead to monthly or one-time service agreements.

 

 

Insurance

Please feel free to ask for a certificate of insurance and bonding information. PSG Cleaning Services is fully licensed, bonded, and insured.

 

Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with our service, contact PSG and we will return to your home within 24 hours to ensure your complete satisfaction.

 

Home Plan

A home plan lists all required tasks for each room and the price associated with the entire cleaning. It clearly communicates both parties' expectations. If you wish to make a change to the home plan after it has been completed and signed, please let Patrick Garrett know and allow 3-5 business days to make the necessary changes. Any alterations to the original plan may decrease or increase the time alloted for your service. PSG's home plan renews automatically every January 1. Either party may terminate the plan at any time with two weeks' notice. We encourage you to review your intial home plan carefully as our services are based solely upon it.
